Research/Scholarship: 
His academic interests in Service Learning allow him to connect Communication to Wellness. Professor Rinehart has presented at multiple academic conferences on presentation, teaching and service related topics. He currently teaches classes for the Wellness and Health Promotion department, along with classes in the Communication and Journalism department. In addition to teaching, he has served as the Director of the Oakland University Speech Team since 2012.
